Reading the Room: Fetal Monitoring Basics for Doulas

Doulas spend hours in rooms where fetal monitoring is shaping the pace, tone, and decisions around a birth, often without ever having had the "why" explained to them directly. This live, two-hour training is designed to close that gap.

Led by a Board-Certified L&D nurse, and founder of Bundle Birth, Sarah Lavonne will walk doulas through the basics of fetal heart rate monitoring: what it is, how it developed, why and what is considered the standard of care, and how the doula can support their client in both intermittent and continuous fetal monitoring.

This is not a clinical skills training, and doulas will not be taught to interpret strips or advise clients on monitoring decisions, which is outside the doula scope.
